Your account & customer perks
The Studio account chip and its Lifetime/Customer badges, the customer perks that pack and lifetime owners unlock (saved presets, batch export, cloud sync), the separate entitlement on character exports, and the TJA_ license-key fallback for signed-out or desktop use.

The account chip in the top-right of the Studio shows who you're signed in as and what you've unlocked. The Studio itself is free for everyone; owning a pack or the lifetime license adds a Customer or Lifetime badge and turns on a small set of customer perks — saved presets, batch export, and cloud sync. Perks are gated in the interface, but real entitlements are always decided by the site, and a failed check never turns the Studio into a paywall. Character exports are gated separately from perks — see characters are a separate entitlement below.
The account chip#
The chip sits at the far right of the header and reflects your state:
- Signed out — a Sign in button linking to the site's login page with a return target back to your current Studio URL.
- Signed in — a My Account pill (avatar, label, and a chevron). Your email lives inside the menu, not on the bar.
Opening the menu shows your identity (name or "ThreeJS Assets customer", plus your email), an entitlement badge when you have one, the perks section, a My account link to your store account page, and Sign out. The chip re-checks your state when the window regains focus, so unlocking a pack on the store and tabbing back updates it without a reload.
Badges#
The badge summarizes your entitlement:
| Badge | You have |
|---|---|
| Lifetime | The All-Access Lifetime License |
| Customer | At least one pack purchase |
| (none) | A free, signed-in account |
The badge is informational. A free account can use all core Studio tools; signed-out visitors are normally asked to sign in before entering Studio.
Signing out#
Sign out hands a signed-in browser session off to the site's logout page. A key-only session does not show the signed-in account menu; clear its key by running Set license key and submitting an empty value.
Customer perks#
Perks are conveniences for customers. All of them unlock with any pack purchase or the lifetime license — there's no perk-specific SKU. The launch perks are:
| Perk | What it does |
|---|---|
| Saved presets | Save and reuse your own presets across Studio tools — both pose presets and a character's appearance presets |
| Batch export | Export multi-file projects and bundles in one pass |
| Cloud sync | Push projects to the cloud and keep them in sync across devices |
When you are signed in with a free account, gated perk controls remain visible and open an explanation instead of performing the action. For example, Save to cloud and Autosync appear on signed-in project cards but require any pack purchase or the All-Access Lifetime License. Signed-out project cards stay local-only and do not show cloud controls. See the sync badges in signing in & your projects.
Two details are worth knowing:
- Ownership follows your store account. If you buy a pack in another tab, return to Studio and let it refresh; a reload or sign-in may be needed if the session changed.
- Core editing stays available. A temporary ownership-check failure does not block the free editing tools, although licensed assets and perks may need a successful refresh.
Characters are a separate entitlement#
Perks are one gate. Characters are another, and the two do not overlap.
The Character Creator is free: anyone signed in can build, configure, preview, animate, and save appearance presets on a character. Two deliverables are entitled, and only those two — the character's exported .glb and its editable source bundle. Both require owning that character's product.
This is not the batch-export perk under another name, and Lifetime does not cover it automatically. A Lifetime holder who doesn't own a given character product sees the same locked export as anyone else, because the site — not the Studio — computes that answer, and the Studio only reads it. A locked control says so up front, with the product it belongs to named, rather than failing at the end of an export.
Everything else about a character stays free, including animating it with the whole clip library and saving it in your .animproj.json.
The TJA_ license-key fallback#
Customers can enter Studio without a browser session by supplying their TJA_ download credential. Open the Set license key command and paste your key (it must start with TJA_); submit an empty value to clear it. A valid stored key lets you pass the entry screen and unlocks entitled catalog assets and downloads.
The key is stored for the current browser session only and is cleared when the session ends. It is the same credential shown on your store account page and in your purchase email — see your TJA_ license key.
A key is not an account session: the account chip remains signed out, saved presets and batch export stay locked, and cloud projects are unavailable. Use the shared browser sign-in when you want account identity, customer perks, or cloud sync.
Where to go next#
- Signing in & your projects — SSO, the dashboard, and cloud sync badges.
- The lifetime license — what lifetime unlocks across the whole library.
- Your account library — orders, downloads, and your credential on the store.
