Viewing models & preview access
Use interactive previews to evaluate assets, then download licensed files from your account.
Published free and premium assets can be evaluated in the interactive viewer on their asset pages. Pack demo pages may also provide a world preview when one is available.
What a preview is for#
Use the viewer to inspect the model's shape, style, proportions, and appearance before downloading or buying. You do not need to buy a premium pack just to use its in-page preview.
Preview access is not a license#
A browser preview is for evaluation only. Viewing or technically fetching a preview does not grant permission to use, redistribute, mirror, or resell the file.
The licensed product is the download access and pack contents supplied to your account. Depending on the pack, these can include named models, components, palette information, documentation, and an editable edition that is not part of the preview.
Download files you can use#
- For a free asset, sign in with a free account and select Download on its asset page.
- For a purchased pack or lifetime license, use Account → Downloads.
- For scripted downloads, use the
TJA_key from your purchase email or Downloads tab.
Pasting a /models/... preview URL straight into the address bar no longer downloads the file. You land on a branded Preview unavailable page — This 3D preview can’t be opened directly — with a link back to the model's or pack's own page, where the preview legitimately renders. Embedding a preview from a site that is not allow-listed is blocked, and so are unusually high-volume preview requests.
A bare programmatic request with no browser context needs to prove who you are: sign in, or send an API key from Account → Connections, the same key the API endpoints use for scripts.
Use the viewer for evaluation and your account for licensed files.
